We’re coming off a great weekend in Bloomington!
A big thank you to our volunteers on the Executive Council and Board of Managers who joined us this weekend for meetings and so much good discussion. Thank you!
We also celebrated our Distinguished Alumni Service Awards (DASA) this weekend in a beautiful ceremony in Alumni Hall. DASA is the highest accolade that Indiana University bestows upon its alumni. The awardees are leaders in their chosen fields. They also make significant contributions benefiting their community, state, nation, or university. We were honored to recognize our three honorees:
- The Honorable Shirley Slanger Abrahamson, JD’56, Law; LLD’86, Honorary.
- Mr. Booker T. Jones Jr., BME’67, Music; DM’12, Honorary.
- Dr. Roderick Paige, MS’62, Physical Education; PED’70, Physical Education.

Thank you to everyone who came back to Bloomington. Have a great week!
