Has it been a year already?!
Registration is now open for the Alumni Leaders Conference 2014: ALL IN! I’m so excited to see all of you and welcome you to Bloomington this June.
We are finalizing a few details of the conference, but you’re in for some serious fun. Our conversations will look at IU’s Third Century and the evolution we continue to make as an organization. We have an incredible lineup of speakers, including Caroline Dowd-Higgins, our director of professional enrichment, and award-winning journalist and fellow IU alumna Jane Pauley via live webcast. We’ll also hear from IU administrators during IUx sessions, celebrate and consider the 2013-14 Volunteer Challenge, and talk to this year’s two IU trustee candidates.
A few things are a little different this year. We’re kicking off on Thursday, June 5, with a few select meetings and a social at the DeVault Alumni Center to welcome early arrivals. The official ALC program starts on Friday morning and ends with Saturday’s Celebration Luncheon. On Friday night, we’ll follow the traditional awards banquet with a live cover band, dancing, and all kinds of fun in Alumni Hall.
Please let us know you’re coming before May 16 to ensure the best experience possible.
Finally, I want to thank you. The enthusiasm you show for IU and the IUAA echoes throughout this university. It’s an honor to have you “ALL IN” every day.
