Recognizing Outstanding Alumni Leadership: The IUAA President’s Award

One of the privileges of my position is developing relationships with amazing volunteers that work hard for IU and the IU Alumni Association.

Many of them started their journeys with Indiana University as young dreamers – eager learners in Richmond, or Bloomington, or Indianapolis, or any of our great campuses. I know, because I’m one of them.

I’m lucky to meet alumni regularly who have given their time and talent, and oftentimes, treasure, to help make a difference in the lives of students that come after them, and to their alma mater as a whole. It’s these alumni that we will celebrate in just a few days at the Alumni Awards Banquet at Cream and Crimson Alumni Weekend.

I wholeheartedly congratulate these outstanding alumni leaders who are receiving the 2018 IUAA President’s Award:

  • Peter Boonjarern, BS’00, of Bangkok, Thailand
  • Ross Miller, BS’04, of Denver, Colorado
  • Thao Nelson, BA’93, MS’96, of Bloomington, Indiana
  • Mary Ann Nunn, BS’78, of Fenton, Missouri
  • E.G. White, BS’71, MBA’75, of Greenwood, Indiana

Thank you for your service and dedication.  Because of you and the scores of past leaders who also hold this distinction, we are made better.
