We Want to Say ‘Thank You’ at Homecoming!

Friends,

As an alumni leader, you do so much to make IU and the IUAA better. Thank you for your time and effort. The entire IUAA staff wants to honor you during Homecoming weekend, Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14–15. Please join us for Alumni Leader Recognition Weekend, a very special part of Homecoming.

Here’s a rundown of what we’ve got prepared for you:

Spirit Stations (Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
Stop by one of our Homecoming Spirit Stations and pick up some free IU swag! Let the staff at the Spirit Station know you’re an alumni leader, and they will give you an additional gift. Locations include the Indiana Shop on Kirkwood, the Indiana Memorial Union, and the DeVault Alumni Center on 17th Street.

Parade & Pep Rally (Friday, with parade lineup at 5 p.m. and parade step-off at 6 p.m.)
Join us in the parade Friday night! March or choose to take in the parade from the VIP seating section. This year’s route follows Woodlawn Avenue from the Indiana Memorial Union to near Memorial Stadium. A spirited, family-friendly pep rally—complete with food trucks and fireworks—immediately follows the parade.

Pre-Game Party (Saturday, 12:30 to 3 p.m.)
Rev up your Hoosier spirit before the big game at the Homecoming Huddle! You and one guest receive complimentary tickets to this exclusive tent party outside the DeVault Alumni Center. The party includes food and drinks from local vendors, live entertainment, activities for the kids, and appearances from the IU cheerleaders and Marching Hundred. Plus, you’ll receive a special gift.

Memorial Stadium On-Field Recognition (Saturday, 2:30 p.m.)
It’s time to feel the love from the Memorial Stadium crowd! We will gather at the end of the Homecoming Huddle to march as a family over to Memorial Stadium where you will be recognized on the field prior to kick-off. To participate, you must have a game ticket; tickets are available through IU Athletics, 866-IUSPORTS. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m.

We can’t wait to say “Thank You” at Homecoming 2016!

For the glory of IU,

Rachael
