April is National Volunteer Month and we at the IU Alumni Association have much to be thankful for. I wanted to send a special note of appreciation to you, our treasured alumni leaders.
Your work reflects IUAA’s values – commitment, inclusion, pride, and collaboration – via selfless acts that support students, fellow graduates, and your alma mater. Your service drives the university’s progress and expands the promise and possibility of a world-class education. You are truly and deeply committed to something bigger than yourselves.
Please accept my gratitude for all who made IU Day, once again, a success. You celebrated, you gave back, you supported virtually, and, most of all, you turned this celebration into opportunities for our IU family. You are making our university better and stronger.
As we enter the season where students transition to their new station as graduates, please know that your partners at the Alumni Association will be giving thanks for the generous support of volunteers like you. Your service writes the story of alumni leadership and service into the three-century history of Indiana University.
Thank you for your generous gifts of talent, time, and treasure. For all this, and more, I am grateful.
