At our fall 2013 Executive Council, volunteers suggested that we develop an online tool to help them find alumni in their area, from their school, or from their class who are not members, so they can recruit them to join the IUAA. We listened!

I am happy to report that we now have a new tool in place, the Challenge Search Tool, to help you find potential prospects to reach your ALL IN Membership Challenge goal.

Use the Challenge Search Tool to do a quick search for alumni who aren’t current members . (Don’t forget, you have to log-in with the same username and password you use for other IUAA tools.) You can find nonmember alumni by name or class year. Use the Advance Search feature to find lists of alumni from a specific area, school, or industry. (Remember, only the names of alumni who are NOT IUAA members will appear in this directory.)

Once you have your list, click on the names, and you’ll be taken to a profile page where you can find their contact information. Be sure to refer to the  member recruitment guide for e-mail and letter templates.

In addition, member status is now listed in the full Alumni Directory, which lists both members and nonmember alumni.

Don’t forget to add the alumni you have invited to join on the leaderboard. And, please give us feedback. Let us know if this tool is working for you, how you are using it, or if you have any suggestions.
