As I was preparing to write this blog post, I took some time to think about the many years I’ve been working with the Alumni Association (since 1998!) and how many tremendous people I’ve been able to meet. I perused the list of previous honorees for the IUAA President’s Award and I thought about those years with fondness and most of all, gratitude, for the pride and commitment each of the volunteers showed to their beloved IU.

It’s time to begin considering how we can honor more worthy alumni for their hard work and determination on behalf of the IU Alumni Association.

We will present the IUAA President’s Award to outstanding volunteer leaders in June during the Alumni Leaders Conference. Anyone in the IUAA or IU family (staff or volunteer) may submit nominations. Reach out to me at rekeith@iu.edu or to your staff liaison for the form and criteria.

Our deadline for submissions is February 28. I look forward to honoring a fine group of alumni leaders this summer.
